Would love to visit Alaska by way of a cruise

Favorite outdoor activities: quiet walks in the woods, gardening - flower and vegetable, sitting outside in my yard listening to and watching the wildlife, horseback riding.

Favorite indoor activity: cooking, reading (last read was Bloody Business), cross-stitching while watching a favorite show, just chatting about anything with my SO.

Challenge on Hold...

Looks like I am going to have to put the Challenge on hold, alas. With an unexpectedly high electric bill, high satellite dish bill and my health insurance premium having gone up because of my age - I turned the big 5-0 back on the 11th, it's all a bit over the budget for now. Thankfully, this is a 5-paycheck month for most of us, so that'll help.

Hopefully next month.....

You can bet I am hanging in there, altho.....when I deposited my paycheck, I deposited an even amount and the left over "change" I put towards the challenge (my coke bottle piggy bank).

Did any of y'all who asked about SmartyPig check out the website? I'd love to hear feedback about what you thought of it......thx.
